From the author:
In 1993, a fire broke out and almost the entire Chapel Bridge went up in flames. As a result, 2/3 of the paintings were destroyed. After restoration and renewal, 110 of the original 158 paintings are now back on the ridge of the bridge.
The woman dressed in black has smoky eyes. It is a black day in the history of Lucerne.
